Today, we would like to express our deep gratitude to Tony Arancio for all of the time he gives to Operation Respect year-round, and we would like to especially acknowledge the extraordinary effort he put into ensuring that the Operation Respect benefit last night at Symphony Space was a great success!
Tony Arancio, Peter Paul and Mary’s friend, and sound tech, for over forty years, also serves as Peter Yarrow’s personal assistant and, in this role, supports Operation Respect in a myriad of ways, including helping to coordinate meetings and special events in Peter’s home and managing logistics for presentations and concerts that Peter gives on behalf of Operation Respect. He also serves in the ancient role of schlepping and gathering, and in the ultimate role of saving the day on a moment by moment basis
Most recently, Tony produced the Operation Respect benefit concert with Peter and Paul, at Symphony Space on September 29th. Thank you, Tony, for all of the energy and long hours you put into securing the perfect venue, promoting the concert and making certain every detail of the sound and stage was covered so that the concert would run as beautifully as it did last night! We are so grateful for your dedication, expertise and friendship and for your generous support of Operation Respect, day in and day out!
